Migration

Planned and helped support for Exchange 2003 to 2010 Migration in resilience (clustering) mode between San Francisco and Sacramento sites. Based on the preliminary server assessment, tasks included were:

• Initial Exchange Migration discussion and to agree on the implementation date.
• Work completed and Supported during “Normal Working Hours.”
• Helped execute a “FULL” backup on related Apps, Binaries, and scripts on current Exchange server(s).
• Schedule downtime for Exchange Migration.

Exchange installation on 2 servers performed in San Francisco (CAS/HUB and Mailbox).

1. Configuring Public folders; Installation/configuration of routing connectors,
2. Configuring, validating and testing internal mailboxes.
3. Configuring OWA and ActiveSync. In addition, BACKUPS configuration.
4. Configuring AV/SPAM filters. Configuring and Installing COLO servers.
5. Configuring Database Availability Groups in 2 locations. Validating and Testing of failover.
